10 REASONS WHY WE CAN BREATHE

We can breathe because,

God “blew into [humanity’s] nostrils the breath of life” (Gen. 2:7),

God’s mercy endures forever.

We can breathe because,

“Not by might, and not by power, but by my spirit, says the LORD” (Zec. 4:6),

God’s mercy endures forever.

We can breathe because,

“You anoint [our] heads with oil; [our] cups overflows” (Ps. 23:5),

God’s mercy endures forever.

We can breathe because,

“[We] need simply watch; the punishment of the wicked [we] will see” (Ps. 91:8),

God’s mercy endures forever.

We can breathe because,

“We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed” (2 Cor. 4:8),

God’s mercy endures forever.

We can breathe because,

“we are not discouraged; rather, although our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day” (2 Cor. 4:16),

God’s mercy endures forever.

We can breathe because,

I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world” (Jn. 16:33),

God’s mercy endures forever.

We can breathe because,

“We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose” (Rom. 8:28),

God’s mercy endures forever.

We can breathe because,

[We] belong to God, children, and [we] have conquered them, for the one who is in [us] is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 Jn. 4:4),

God’s mercy endures forever.

We can breathe because,

“goodness and mercy will pursue [us] all the days of [our lives]; [we] will dwell in the house of the LORD for endless days” (Ps. 23:6),

God’s mercy endures forever.
